Free local history workshop about liveArgyll Archives and the Argyll Papers at Inveraray Castle
Thursday 28 February, 2.00-4.30pm
As part of the HLF funded ‘Written in the Landscape’ project, the workshop will include short presentations from the archivists who will talk about the archive collections held at Lochgilphead and Inveraray Castle, and how they may assist people in Lochgilphead and the surrounding area with their local history research. It is an opportunity to get ‘hands on’ with some original records from both archives.
There is no charge for attending the workshop which will be held in Lochgilphead Community Centre. Places are limited so advance booking is essential.
Please email jennifer.young@liveargyll.co.uk or phone 01546604517 to book a place.
