How the lists are ordered
Every list on this site runs A to Z. Always. No one can pay to move up it.
This is the part most directories are vague about, so we are not. Position is not a product. It is not sold, it is not traded, and there is no arrangement under which it could be. Businesses can pay us for tools — a way to reach the people who follow them, their own visitor numbers — and none of those tools touch where they appear. Some names are bold; that changes weight, never position.
Where the information comes from
Every fact on a listing carries its own provenance, and we show it. If a phone number came from OpenStreetMap, the page says so. If we went and checked in person, it says that instead, and when. If nobody has confirmed something for a while, we say that too rather than quietly letting it look current.
Some listing details come from OpenStreetMap contributors and are available under the Open Database Licence.
What we do not do
- No reviews, no star ratings, no scores. We report what is, and never judge quality.
- No accounts to browse. No tracking of people.
- No free listing that is really a trial. A free listing is complete, it never expires, and it is never made worse to sell something.
Helping
Anything you tell us is a suggestion that a person reads before anything changes — how that works. If a business is missing, tell us and we will go and find them.
